Location and Dates
SERES 2014 will be held in Eskişehir/Turkiye from 15 to 17 of October, 2014. The city is in a strategic position having a well-established university, equipped with a professional department of Materials Science and Engineering and a popular department of ceramic and glass arts integrated together. Also clustering of Turkish ceramic industry’s representative companies in the same region facilitates a strong university-industry cooperation.
Anadolu University Congress Center, Yunusemre Campus, Eskisehir, Turkiye
Due to the need for a number of parallel sessions and workhops, some Symposia will possibly be held in additional meeting rooms, very close to the congress center (in the campus area).
English will be the official language for SERES’14.
Registration and Information Desk
Registration and information desks will serve in the dates of 15-17 October 2014 between 08:00-18:00 in the congress center.
Abstract Submissions and Full-Length Manuscripts
Identification badges should be worn by each attendant and accompanying person to benefit from all congress and social activities and stand fields.
Electronic presentation (Power Point) facilities will be available including videoprojector, PC and laser pointer. Cost for any special audio-visual request will be the responsibility of the individual speaker.
Allowed time for presentation:
- Invited Lectures 30 min. including discussion
- Contributed Lectures 20 min. including discussion
The timing for each lecture (day, and morning/afternoon sessions) may be read in the Session Timetable of the Final Announcement.
Guidelines for Poster preparation can be found at Abstract Submission page. Authors are kindly requested to be present at their poster for discussion with attendees during the Poster Session. It is each author’s responsibility to remove the poster. The organisers do not assume any responsibility for posters left up.
Attendance by at least one of the authors is requested for poster presentation and publication in SERES 2014 Proceedings.
The booklet of the Final Programme including titles and detailed timetable of Lectures and Posters will be given at the registration desk. It also will be hopefully available on the conference web site approx. 10 days before the beginning of the conference.
Attendance certificate will be given to all registered attendants.
All travel, lodging and registration expenses will be the responsibility of the individual participants. Special letters of invitation to be used for Visa application will be provided upon written request to the Conference organizers (email@example.com).
Cancellation should be done in conditions of proper cancellation procedure with the communication to Medula Organization (firstname.lastname@example.org). All refunds will be paid after the congress. The last date for the cancellation of accommodation and the congress attendance is 1st September 2014. The last date for the sponsorship cancellation is 1st July 2014. The cancellation demands after these dates will not be accepted.
